Hi, I’m Jessica, thank you so much for stopping by. Have things been feeling off lately? Do you feel stuck or unsure how to move forward? I would be honoured to hear your story and walk with you to find solutions and develop a plan to help you reach your goals.
My approach to therapy is that you are the expert on your life and experiences, so my role is to help you to find the best way to move forward and to empower you to take those steps towards wellness. I use an integrative approach, which means that I will collaboratively choose interventions with you that best suit your needs and your preferences.
Jessica is a dog mom who enjoys a great book. She is looking forward to hearing your story, and the role that she can play to support you in changing it for the better.
“Therapy is about understanding the self that you are. But part of getting to know yourself is to unknow yourself - to let go of the limiting stories you’ve told yourself about who you are so that you aren’t trapped by them, so you can live your life and not the story you’ve been telling yourself about your life.” - Lori Gottlieb, Psychotherapist

Madalyn (She/Her):
I am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at Tula Wellness. I work from a client-centred approach, emphasizing client experiences to determine best practices. Working from this approach, I listen and understand the individual and their uniqueness in each session. Years of experience working with vulnerable and marginalized populations allowed me to create an approach where I work towards creating a therapeutic alliance that includes genuineness, cooperation, and a sense of security and empowerment using client strengths and resilience.

(SHE/HER/HERS) FOCUS: COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY, SOLUTION FOCUSED BASED THERAPY, EMOTION FOCUSED THERAPY, AND NARRATIVE THERAPY
In life, change is the only constant. I heard that a lot in my life, but the only time it resonated with me is when the change was so difficult to bear. As a counselor in training, I am mindful of how as humans, we encounter life experiences that could leave us in despair. I offer this safe space to support you as you go through your unique journey by highlighting and empowering you along the way and ensuring that your experiences are honored, your voice is heard, your emotions are validated and most of all, your decisions are supported. My approach to therapy is focused on your needs, personal strengths, and desired goals. I look forward to co-design a therapeutic plan with you.
I am honored to have experience in working with children, youth, and adults from all walks of life. However, in my current role, I will be working with youth and adults. I welcome all clients from all gender, spiritual, and cultural backgrounds.
I am certified as a CBT practitioner and trained in trauma-focused therapies, mindfulness, play and art therapy.
As a mental health practitioner I believe that we all need a therapeutic space to feel respected, welcomed, non-judged, and supported as we heal in our unique ways. I hope that we can collaboratively create this space here.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Masters degree in Sport Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology, I am focused on establishing a trauma-informed practice, re-kindling the connection between body and mind, while rooting myself and our work in anti-oppressive principles. I work within an integrative approach, emphasizing the importance of emotions and how understanding our emotions can give us power to heal. Connection and inclusivity guide the work that we will do together. To feel included and empowered in the choices you make in your own care is pivotal.
I aim to work with cultural humility, demonstrating comfort and genuine curiosity to understand and explore how each part of our cultural identities intersects making us who we are. Specialties: Sports Performance including coach-athlete relationships, mental health concerns due to injuries and concussions, and performance anxiety.
I would really like to focus on supporting athletes that have experienced abuse and trauma during their sport experiences. As well as supporting athletes after retirement as the more connected their identity is to being an athlete the more difficult retirement can be which can result in mental health concerns.

Hello, I am a practicum student completing my Master of Arts in Counselling at Yorkville University. I am mindful that choosing to attend therapy can be challenging and even painful at times. I can provide clients with a safe space to be vulnerable while learning about themselves and their emotions while working towards their therapeutic goals. I work with a client-centred, trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming lens and use a collaborative, purposeful approach. I can help clients with depression, anxiety, stress, Autism, ADHD, birth trauma, fertility struggles and parenting. I enjoy reading, cooking, hiking, travelling, and camping with my family and old pup.
